2014 is off to a great start for Team National and the TN Business Exchange (TNBE) is reflecting that growth! The TNBE had a phenomenal February and March is shaping up to be another record-breaking month. So when we say that momentum (“Big Mo”) is alive and well, it’s an understatement. How and why is this occurring?
Perhaps due to Erika’s (TNBE Manager) passion for small business, the streamlined registration process, the rapid adoption of BE Mobile, the success of the BE Banner program, and the much anticipated unveiling of the new look/functionality of the TNBE website. Although all of these factors played vital roles in the recent growth, it’s the IMDs Team National success stories that are primarily responsible for the expansion.
The following Business Exchange testimony effectively captures the essence behind our momentum. You will appreciate the impact Team National has made in Chuck and Bev Bennett’s personal and professional lives… originally sparked by their engagement in the TN Business Exchange.
“Chuck and I bought a premium membership in August 2009 for two reasons. First, to save money (who doesn’t want to pay less?!) and for the potential offered by the Business Exchange. The income we’ve since generated has been nothing less than a blessing and we are now looking for my replacement in the firm, as my value is now greater with Team National. We have worked together for 23 years building our firm, and raising our family …. Now for the business exchange.
We immediately added our name to the local business exchange in 2009, and began to promote a ‘free review of a prior year return’ – we’d gladly find the mistakes those “Block guys” made for sure! We attended local meetings, public overviews, regional meetings and more. And, we also took a lot of phone calls helping the team with prospects that owned a business or those that simply had tax questions. In the first tax season following our membership (2010), we added around 5 new clients – billing approximately $1,200 for TN clients. In 2011, the number more than doubled and we billed around $3,000 for TN tax returns. That number continues to grow annually. At the end of 2012, we upgraded to the National Business Exchange (expanded selected services nationwide and thus received a free nationwide icon), and last tax season (2013) we billed right under $10,000.
We are so excited to see the numbers for this year, as we have added at least 15 new tax clients over and above the prior years. The bottom line is that the business exchange works. We have invested in several organizations, clubs and other advertising opportunities including the support for dozens of sporting events over the years. NOTHING has returned our investment like Team National’s Business Exchange.”
