This delicious recipe was submitted to us by Team National Double Platinum Kim Johannes and is a great way to begin the day, for a midday healthy meal suppressant or after a long workout. It is refreshing and offers some very nutritional benefits! Follow the directions below and enjoy this delicious new take on our Team National Success Shake!
- 1 heaping scoop of Team National Vanilla Success Shake mix
- 1 cup of fresh green baby spinach
- 1 cup of fresh green kale
- 3-4 fresh baby carrots
- a few slices of 1 cucumber
- 1/2 stalk of celery
- 3-4 strawberries
- 1/2 banana (I freeze extra for another shake)
- 1/2 green Granny Smith apple
- 8 oz. coconut water
- 1/2 cup of ice
Combine 1 heaping scoop of Team National Vanilla Success Shake mix, 8 ounces of coconut water, and 1/2 cup of ice into a blender. Then, add in fruit and vegetables a little at a time, mixing as you go. This recipe can be altered with any of your favorite fruits/veggies and quantity can be adjusted to your tasting, sometimes I add avocado. Mix to your liking. If you like the consistency of your shake to be on the thinner side, use more coconut water. If you like it to be thicker, use less. I start off with one cup, then I add extra until it is the texture I like.
