Team National has taken a very active role in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, and enjoys helping and providing support in any way possible. The corporate headquarters decided that this month would be a great time to start an in-office donation fund which would give the opportunity for the corporate staff to give back each week to this beneficial cause.
Angela Loehr Chrysler, Team National President and CEO, thought of the fun and charitable idea of wearing denim for donations to the club. Each employee has been given the option to wear jeans to work, and when each employee wears jeans, they donate one dollar to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County. This has been a fun way to give back to the local community, and has raised money which is delivered to the organization each week.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County provides academic success, character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyle programs for children in the Broward county community. The Boys and Girls Clubs has served as a safe-haven for many children who are subject to gangs, broken homes, overcrowding and disadvantaged circumstances, or poor home-lives where love and attention are lacking. It is the goal of the Boys and Girls Clubs to improve the lifestyle of these children, and provide support.
Team National is happy to be apart of any opportunity to give back to this incredible cause. To learn more about ways you can give back to the BGBC check out their donations page, and also check out the Team National charities of choice under BigN.com.
