Team National took part in the 14th annual Bikers Bash, which benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County over the weekend of December 6-9, 2012. This incredible event, presented by Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson and V-Twin Magazine, featured police escorted rides and entertainment from the Sugarhill Gang. In total, the event raised $170,000 for the children of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, and gave Team National the opportunity to give back to the local community.
Celebrity appearances were in abundance at this event. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, songwriter Richie Supa, Jersey Shore star Pauly D and the group the Cadillac Creeps, all stopped by to give back to this beneficial cause.
The event featured a performance by the Sugarhill Gang on Friday, December 7, 2012. On Saturday, December 8, 2012 a police escorted ride was provided to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County where Team National had the opportunity to give toys from the toy drive to the children of the Moran Unit. The festivities came to a close in a big way on December 9, 2012, with the 25th annual SFPC Christmas Toys in the Sun. This final event of the weekend was considered the largest police escorted motorcycle parade from I-95 to I-595 to Markham Park. Once the ride was over, participants enjoyed a catered tent, live entertainment and a bike show.
Team National takes part in numerous causes benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, and takes pride in giving back to the local community in any way possible. TN looks forward to many more events like this in the future, and opportunities to bring a smile to a child’s day!
